nos montanha :: our mountain

We live in a valley near the foot of Pico d’Antonia, the highest peak on Santiago. Every day we are lucky to see the changing face of this beautiful mountain, and we wanted to share some of those wonderful views with you.

We did a road walk along the main highway that runs through the center of Santiago, beginning in our conselho, traveling up and over the ridgeline, arriving in the neighboring conselho, hiking off-road through a river valley to a small town, and then back down to the road and home again.
