Beef isn’t available in our local town so Jen and I purchase beef only occasionally when we are in Porto Novo. After purchasing the beef, I took it across the street to get it ground by a different merchant (in this picture). They charged me 100 cfa ($0.20) to grind the meat. The man chopped the meat into chunks and the woman ran in through the hand grinder. We grilled burgers for dinner.
I’m surprised this email got through my Spam filter… normally emails with “meat grinding” in the subject line end up in my no-no folder
